Hi all!
Haven't been the most active member here lately because - unlike in some occupations - i'm burried in work
Here are some shots i managed to squize out of sundays etc. Hope you like them. I also redid my smugmug, i think it turned out pretty great and may be an inspiration to some of you guys. Okay.. phototime! :thumb
1) Dragonfly covered in dew (don't like how the flash worked out on this one but i'm experimenting with the flash from the side of the lens now and this works better)
2) Dragonfly silhouette
3) Ugly something with prey (common housefly?) (flash from the side works better, light is softer!)
4) Dragonfly basking in the sun
5) Dragonflies mating
6) Another ugly fellow covered in dew
C&C always welcome!

All these were made with the tamron 90mm, although i think the first one was with a 25mm ext. tube. #3 was just 1:1. I'm considering an upgrade to the sigma 150mm though for some extra distance between the lens and the bugs (WD) because i find that i scare them away too often
