What a neat place. I love how the IR really makes the iron bench pop out. Blacks are so "black" in IR photography. Does it come natural or do you need to do something with it in editing?

Bet you needed to duck to walk up to the place or is it an optical illusion on how close the branch is to the ground?

    Howdy Mary,

Thanks very much, most of the time the Black color comes in very nicely on it's own.

and yes I to duck and really pay attention to how low and how much area they took up.

Very nice, Craig. Don't you know that place is heaven for a tree-climbing kid. Heck, I'd like to get up in that tree myself.

    Take care,

    Tom
I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

    Nice shot. Where is that?

There were a lot of oaks in New Orleans' City Park before the flood, beautiful old trees. A good number of them didn't survive. The salt water killed them.

    Howdy Boutte,

Thanks, it's in Natchitoches, we really love the feel of the town, we'd stayed there before, and stopped off for lunch and a nice walk around town and the Cane River.

    Howdy Ron,

Thanks very much, even moreso, that you're not usually an IR Fan:D
