From a few weeks ago driving through the Canadian Rockies. Taken with my Sony Alpha A700 + Sigma 50-500.

    Nice photo!

    Just went and looked at your photo's, really nice. Do you shoot that lens hand held? Just courious as I have the 170-500 and shoot usually hand held with it.

    Thanks! 99% hand held. I use a mono-pod on cold rainy days on occasion. The A700 has internal image stabilization which seems to work well out to 500mm. The latest version of the 50-500 has stabilization built into the lens.
