"My Golden Town" - this one was a great local success, back in 2008

Among other things, Oporto is known by the local river called as "Douro", which in portuguese means "golden".
One cold day, back in January 2008, immediately after purchasing my "new" 50mm f/1.4, I went out and took some shots. This one was the best of the day and someone from the local cityhall saw it at PBase and asked me to publish it at their monthly magazine.
I think that the golden tones achieved, are a nice tribute to the name of the river:
