..... for preferring Fall and Winter over blazing sunshine and temps in the 100's....

... for loving the quiet dampness of fog and walking through sombre forrests.....

...... and for making photos of city name plates, piles of fire wood...... :dunno :dunno

What do you think? :rofl

Looks like a nice place to visit, take the photos..............and go "south". I do not do cold well. Of course, this year in the USA southeast, I have not done heat well either. (My husband thinks I am crazy for leaving the door open at any time, I think he does "controlled living" best.)

I do love fog. Fog gets up before I do. I am going to have to visit some fog.

Wonderful photography there: of signs, wood piles, fog, and mountains. Each has its own merit, I could not pick a favorite.

I'm totally with you on this one, Francois. The winter has always been my favorite time of hte year here in the mountians. Never will you find a place so quiet or a scene so peacefull as woods covered in snow. The crisp air is refreshing to the body, mind, and soul. There is a serenity found in the winter like no other time, and I'm glad someone else agrees with me. :D

Most say I'm nuts too... umph.gifne_nau.gif

    Francois,

    Nice to see you here!

The fourth is nicely composed. Almost has that "oil painting" feel to it. I like
    the way it looks.

I like snow and the mountains as well. And I agree with Ian...the composition on the fourth one is specially good. I like how the clouds frame the mountain peak.
