This is a quick grab shot tonight of a soldier fly (I think) head on, up close, 3 extension tubes on the siggy 105, ringflash, and a 100% crop.
They have, like all flies, got incredible eyes, multi-faceted, with which they watch with 100 views on each each side!
And this one needs to go shave his top lip as well...
