It's been a while since I have posted here ...... Busy at work, not as much time to do what I would rather be doing.

Here are a few from last weekends trip to Cades Cove in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Thanks Harry .... I felt like something was missing by not being here as well. PLEASE send Ric this way ...... I keep offering to "squire" him around my backyard, also known as Cades Cove and the rest of the National Park.

P.S. The same offer goes for you and the lovely and talented Missus Behret

Yoiu have to understand its not easy for Ric to get out of state. He needs to talk to his parole officer first. rolleyes1.gif

    Really good stuff, Bob. thumb.gif

Keep Harry away from your turkeys!

I lost 30 lbs. in 4 weeks and am just now regaining my strength. Right now...I'm a little apprehensive about travel. I'm hopeful though...rode my recumbent trike 20 miles yesterday and took a 5 mile stroll along the Mississippi this morning. As soon as I get my confidence back...I'll be down to Tn. (one of my favorite places)

30 lbs in 4 weeks! That's one extreme diet. Glad that you are doing better.
Have you figured out how to carry the camera and lens on your recumbent yet?

That extreme diet was the result of not being able to swallow...scary stuff. The procedure and the pill$ seem to be working. Thanks, Bob.

The recumbent is not really conducive to photography. I have to find a place to ride to and then take shots....still looking.
