Taking the youngsters on a short journey...

...to where the little blighters can grow bigger and bigger until they are capable of wholesale destruction of the flowers in the garden. Here they are on the petal of one the small Welsh Poppies flowering in the rockery.

I had to look very hard to get the focus right on this, and in the end the tiny size of the little ones beat me when looking at the large aphid, so I had to take 2 images, one focused at the little 'uns, and one on big momma, and then blended the 2-frame stack in CombineZP.

well everybody is entitled to their opinion i guess..

The bug is perhaps a bit harsh in the contrast but i'm staying with it, nice nice nice!
