Shot some fireworks at Foster City CA. This town has man made lagoons and a high pressure system had me hoping for still water.

I checked out the site the day before and they didn't have a barge in the water, so I had to guess where the 'works launch point was. I guessed wrong. I was right under them; my cam was almost at 90 degrees - I couldn't see thru my viewfinder. I shot most at 24mm & there were still many outside my frame.

At that angle I couldn't get any reflection off the water.. Dam, dam (whine, whine.. :D). Here are a couple for sh**** & giggles:

Glad you made it back safely! You've got some guts, because I'm not sure I would have stayed right under them even for the opportunity. lol3.gif

These look great though, and I hope you have some ideas about location for next time!

there awesome, at least you have them in the frame and not at the edge of the frame, that happend ed to me last night cause the fire department kept changing hights, out over the lake.
