A Ghost

I saw this on a leaf yesterday, thought it was a bug, took a shot, and then found that it wasn't an insect at all.

It has taken me a while today to figure out what it is, and I believe it is the pupal skin of a mosquito. A larger version of the shot is here on my site.

If anyone knows for sure what it is, please let me know! Thanks.

Dunno, but i like the abstract aspects of the shot! nice catch and more importantly - nicely captured!

Well spotted and taken - can't be a mosquito the adults do not shed - suspect it's a plant bug.
