I'd never tried "BIFs" before. I have a new appreciation for the images I've seen here. These two I'm not embarassed to show, but they feel a bit soft to me compared to some of yours. I just thought the second was funny. This guy flew for perhaps 5 seconds, scratching himself on the back of his head. I'm pretty sure these are Laughing Gulls. They were shot on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, soundside, behind Jockey Ridge, Nags Head.

Two good captures, I like how the eyes stand out.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

    Thank you Harry!
The sun was low and at my back. I think that helped with the catch-lights, but those gulls do have the nicest little white "frames" around their eyes, don't they.
