D700, is the repair worth it?

I have a D700 body that is two years old and has 124,000 shutter actuations on it. The rubber is peeling off or gone in some places. Gaffer's tape holds the rest of the rubber on and the hot shoe is loose when using with an SB900. Would any of you get this serviced and sell it? I have two other D700s, so I really don't need a backup. The shutter is rated to 150,000 actuations, so it has a little life to it. I guess the repairs would run me about $300 and was thinking of selling it for $800. Any thoughts?

Jeez, for 800, I would almost make the switch. I could do without the hot shoe, and have the rubber (leatherette) repaired. Just can't justify the lens buying right now.

Or you could send it to Nikon and have them replace the shutter while they are at it. That could boost resale value quite a bit.
