iPhoto and geography issues

I'm running iPhoto 09 with it's nifty Places feature. It works great, and I can bulk locate pictures, which beats going through my pictures 1 by 1 on here. I understand that this annoyance is due to Google's Terms of Use, but whatever. My issue: I know the iPhoto to Smugmug exporter doesn't pull the location info on to Smugmug, so I export as a file with location info then use MacDaddy to upload as advised by a thread I found on here, but I'm not finding this to be working. Going to a recent gallery with location info shows no photos on a map. Searching the forums has shown me at least 1 other user having Map this problems. Mac and iPhoto users, are you able to bring in location info using this method, or do you use another one?
