Nice shots, he sure looks mean in that second pic. I so want a big lens to go to the Brookfield Zoo with, maybe soon.

Nice gator, don't like them much myself. Cool shots, though.

My 400 5.6 is on its way??? I will check tracking, maybe tomorrow.
Certainly the next day, it left John Mueller by Fed Ex ground on Monday.

I don't know..I think the first one looks like a Canon 70-200mm and the other two are the Canon 300mm f/4 with IS. ne_nau.gifeek7.gif:D

    Thanks.

It's common knowledge that you never travel into nature being the slowest runner in the group.:D

These guys were small though. Probably dwarf crocs. I may have tried to wrestle one.:uhoh

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Nope...actually just checked out your galleries . Nice work.

I figured since there were no wings, legs, heads or other parts cut off...it was a Canon lens. :cool :lol4

    Thanks Nick.

It all depends on the zoo. At Akron I never needed more than the 70-200. At Pittsburgh I just used it and the 300 mostly. The 400 is fantastic for close portrait shots of the animals though.
