Went out tonight and shot some kayakers on the Spokane River. Access had me shooting into the sun so I made the best of it and learned some things about EV in the process.

This was out at what is called 'Sullivan Hole' it forms around 2200-3700 cfs on the gauge. If you head west on Mission from Flora and Mission the road ends at the Centennial Trail, walk upstream from there and there will be a gray house on your right, path leading down to the river on your left and then hop around the rocks to get to where you want to shoot from. The way the river is dropping I suspect that it will last through the weekend (maybe be a little better for the kayakers) and will be gone by this time next week.

Maybe one of these days. Any suggestions for handling the backlighting in the evening down there?

    400 x 400 foot scrim....Laughing.gif... shoot towards CDA!

Man, I honestly don't have any good suggestions for ya, it is a tough (for me) location to shoot...and I sure as heck can not tell ya where I shoot from...cause I stashed a couple bags of fine candy in a Pelican box there for snacks....
