A Local Band

Our local photography meetup group got together on Tuesday night for a little practice time. I got a shot of a local band that was there posing and playing a little too.

    Wow. Reminds me of something like Gogol Bordello. What kind of lighting were you using? Only thing I can honestly say that catches my eye is the sky being almost overexposed.
    On a scale of 1 to 10, my awesomeness goes all the way to 11.

    even here the "horizon" would be more acceptable if horizontal. the angle doesn't add anything and is distracting to me.

    I made several shots and noticed the horizon was off a bit but thought it was okay on this one. Maybe I'll work on a different version and level it up a little. Maybe in a revised one I can darken the sky a little too.

    Yes I did use flashes. I used two Alien Bees 800s, one camera right with a shot-through umbrella as main light and a second camera left more straight on (but lower power) with a regular reflective umbrella.
