I got this pano shot on my old C-5050 Olympus. It had always bothered me that it had limited sky colour ..it was great on the day but shot in Jpeg with a prosumer camera so i just wore it on the chin.

The backroom dealings between DavidTO & myself have seen an exchange of 'Knowledge for Food' across the pond by way of Scott Kelby's book..'the photoshop CS2 book for digital photographers'.. for 8 pounds of 0zzie lollies & biscuits.

A huge thankyou to you David :thumb

As shot

With sky colour fixed & a handy dandy tutorial on framing !!!

    Hi there Gus,

Great shot and a great book. I picked up a copy of it a week or so ago and have been enjoying the read.

I think I stumbled across the only copy here in Hobart, but you are exactly right about it being easy to follow, and an absolute wealth of info as well.

Its the TimTams that will do your head in mate.

Just remember to 'shotgun' a few of 'em.

    The steps:
    1. Prepare a drink. It can be hot or cold, whatever your preference. Milk is my favourite, but coffee is good for those who like the stuff.
    2. Take Tim Tam from the packet, and try to resist the temptation to just scarf it all down.
    3. Take a small bite out of one corner. Let your tastebuds wallow in it for a moment, then take a small bite out of the opposite corner. Ditto.
    4. Dip one end into your drink
    5. Suck. Go on, SUCK!
    6. Your drink will come slowly up into your mouth, along with little bits of Tim Tam. Mmmmm....
    7. Keep going until the Tim Tam hull integrity is breached. You'll know this is happening when the whole thing starts to collapse in your hand. Gobble it up pronto, and allow your tastebuds to enjoy what is best described as a tastebud orgasm.
    8. Find the packet and return to step 2.

    Gus,

I truly have no idea how to respond to this. I guess I'll have to try that, but I gotta say...just reading it made me feel kinda dirty.
