This morning we took our two children to the doctors for a regular check-up. Our youngest (14 months) tripped over his own feet and landed eye first in to a kids bench in the waiting room. I picked him up and said "Well, at least you picked a convenient location to do this" and 3 hours later there are 5 stitches holding the cut together.

Poor guy. Kills me when my kids hurt themselves. Glad he's ok.

Wow, talk about being in the right place at the right time! eek7.gif

FWI - I did almost exactly the same thing when I was about 2 or 3 years old, same position, same side, still got the scar…

Great pics, BTW - #1 for the sutures, and #2 for the eyelashes!

Outch!!!! That looks like it hurt! Same thing happened to me once, I passed out in at the reception area *after* I had to get some shots. I was just able to tell the receptionist that I was not feeling well, and next thing I remember was me laying on the ground, and everybody patting my face rolleyes1.gif Uhm. That was embarrassing. :hide

Now you have pictures to go along with a family story that will be told for years to come. Memories...

My first wife passed out in the emergency room. No, we weren't there because of her. We were there because of her grandmother!
