These fox kits were keeping track of what was happening on both sides of the den. Shot with a Canon 50D / Canon 300mm f2.8 lens / Canon 1.4X extender.

    Thanks for all the nice comments. This was one of 9 red fox dens a friend and I found in a 60 mile radius of my house this May / June. Most weren't active for long and they're all empty now... but I was able to take LOTS of shots while they were active. This den was only 4 minutes from my house. I could set up at sunrise, take a series of images and still be on time for work every day. Unfortunately, we had a dark, cloudy, rainy spring - so sunny mornings like this one didn't happen often enough. Thanks again.
