Canon 1.4x converter

Hi All

Does anyone know if i fit a canon 1.4x converter to a canon 70-200 F4L will it still autofocus

    Mine does. I have been using it like that for the last two outings. My 300 has been traded for a 400, which is on its way. In the meantime, I put my Canon 1.4 TC on my 70-200 F4 on my 20D.

    I understand that will be a problem, the 20D, and using the 1.4 w the 400L F5.6. Something about taping the pins.

    Anyone have suggestions on how to do that?
