Greetings,

Momfeedingbaby-2.jpg
The larger bird is a fledgling cowbird and it's being fed by a mature sparrow.

Apparently the cowbird will lay an egg in a song birds nest and the "adoptive" parents will raise it.

I forsee some counseling coming up :wink

Cheers, Don

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

I guess this is quite common, a member on another forum reported seeing this behavior with a cardinal.

At least a cardinal is bigger than a sparrow but still....

    Nightmare for the sparrow
Interesting image, but if I were the sparrow I would be asking for new cards..
