A Little Awww Factor

Most times of the year I will not pay any attention to the female deer in the GSMNP. But not in early summer.
A single doe will many times mean there is potential for a fawn .... that's what I came across this morning in
Cades Cove. Of course these types of images have the built in "awwww" factor.
It's almost not fair! :D

    Excellent work. This image actually demonstrates how the spotted coat of the fawn is effective camo. Imitates the dappled leaves/sunlight on the forest floor. Hundreds of fawn images and I've never seen that before. Usually see photos taken in the green grass of Cades Cove and places like that. Nice job thumb.gif

    Nice action shots. The mom looks nervous in the 3rd shot: I had to do a double take to see the fawn. I agree that it's spots do help it blend with the forest floor. Nice work.
