2nd shooter in Milwaukee area

Hey there guys!

I don't shoot with a 2nd every time but offer it as an option. My preferred 2nd has told me she doesn't want to do any more weddings, but she is shooting full time for a department store so I don't blame her. My other guy is a very experienced photographer and although I love shooting with him he has told me he won't work for less than $150 per hour now and that doesn't fit into my budget. So this would be occasional work... maybe a couple a year at first and then hopefully more as time goes on. I'm only interested in somebody local to the Milwaukee area since this isn't a specific gig and more of a willingness to start up a relationship.

So drop me a line on my email Matt@LightCraft-Photography.com with your handle here and your info portfolio, etc. and let me know what your interest is and experience level. For the right kind of rookie I would be willing to take you on a couple that I don't have a 2nd booked for to try you out or get you some experience. You must have your own gear even if it isn't a complete set for weddings, you should have a workable kit with atleast one piece of fast glass. Canon shooters would have the option to share some of my lenses so that would be a nice thing.

Matt

*edit* Actually... just another thought. If there is someone out there who currently runs their own business as a primary and would like to trade 2nd shooter responsibilities, I'm not above shooting 2nd as long as I don't have to commit more than a couple months out. That would be a good situation for me as well.

Thanks! yes I am compiling a list of people I can work with so if there are more people interested send me an email and we can talk about what is coming up. I don't mind giving more than one shooter a test drive too.
