    Whoah the second one really is incredible! Looks like all hell is breaking loose in the sky. :D

    Seriously though I would always take a violent storm over blue skies.

    The first shot is great but that second shot..just WOW! Where were these taken at?

    Thank you everyone. The California desert blows me away. This trip was just too hot though. It must have been 100 at 9-10am. Too hot to mess with. I went in the afternoon before, spent the night and started way before dawn the next morning. Fun. I wanted to spend another night, but things can get real serious too fast.

    That second one is stunning! I love the gold tones in the foreground and sky, with the purplish mountains in between. And it looks like the sky is doing a slow burn across the West. Nice title too, Walter. I like everything about this one!
