That Longing Look

Watched this guy for a good 40 min., I was hoping he would catch a fish and I think by his look he was too :D
However poor fella didn't to seem have much luck :dunno
I think sometimes I look like that :rofl

    The bird might not realize how lucky he is. No amputations that I see. All feathers and body parts are intact.

    And you got a great photo anyway. I do like that photo. Especially w the spin you put on it.

    Excellent shot Ben. Good detail, well compsoed and exposed.Why did you use spot metering on that shot?

    Hey Harry
    Given the large amount of time he posed I actually used the opportunity to shoot in all meter moods.
    I like the spot meter shot best because it held the details and evening light in the Egret (the ocean was full of bright highlights). Even then it was a bit underexp and brought it back with D-Light
    Matrix & CWA metering needed at least -2 EV to give the same result.
    Finally I like the Egrets look in the spot meter shot better then the rest.
