Howdy All,

A few images from the really neat Fort Barrancas, this was quite a

treat, as we'd only heard of Fort Pickens until we started planning

our trip.

I really love the colors in this shot. It's very subdued, but also very sharp.

I see that I wasn't the only one taking in Florida's many forts!

Nice shots Craig. It's amazing how well the forts have survived the ages.

I particularly like the interior shot thumb.gif

    I'm a sucker for #1. IMO, it's great.
Wish 3 had a little more contrast... ne_nau.gif

I like them all Craig -- but #1 really sticks with me thumb.gif Makes me really wonder what I'll see when I walk out and up the steps.

Nice set Craig. Very cool IR and composition well done to all. thumb.gif
Interesting to me that the vanishing points are quite similar in all 3.
Number 3, which I'm drawn towards, has got me thinking of low angles
and a bit heavier offset to the vanishing and what it would look like in that
room. I've been looking at crops with it already and bumping the blacks.
Its a very nice shot as composed though. :D

    Hi Craig,

Great shots. I like that I can see details of the bricks inside the tunnel in the first shot.

    Take care,

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

    Howdy Randy,

Thanks very much, it was our first trip to the Panhandle of Florida and we loved it. I am not really a Beach person, but that place sure spoiled me.

Couldn't believe all the History on the NAS, and FT Barrancas, the story of the Bricks being laid in less that 6 years was unbelievable, something like 6 million of them.

    Howdy Michael,

Thank you very much, was very pleased with the last shot, being handheld in the darkness and coming out with one of my favorite images.

    Appreciate your reply and thoughts.
