Kids in tow, I had the chance to take a quick run through the Cathedral in Palma. The cathedral was VERY cool and contained a Gaudi Chapel.

Just an outside view to start.

9

Not in the cathedral. This is a castillo above the city taken with my wide angle lens. It was a round castle so that helped.

Lastly, could not help including one of me and the family:D

Antoni Gaudi worked on the cathedral in Palma de Mallorca intermittently between 1904 and 1914. His largest contribution to the cathedral is the giant hanging wrought-iron canopy that is supposed to symbolize the Crown of Thorns. Gaudi also introduced electric lighting to the Cathedral, which was quite a novelty in the early 1900's.

great stuff..what nice looking family you have. I am gonna say it though..I think some bracketed shots would have really done the church justice!

    Thanks,

All of the indoor shots are hand held HDR. I toned them down significantly.

Thanks for the great shots. Cathedrals are great locations. Can you explain a little sbout the chapel with all the fish and sea creatures? Very cool space, I love it.
