Hi all, I'm travelling to the Borobudur temple in Indonesia later this month. Would love any advice / tips from folks who have been there in terms of interesting photo ops and gear. I have a D700 with a 16-35 /4, 20 /2.8 and 50 /1.8. And a solid manfrotto tripod. Do you think its worth renting a tele? Welcome any other suggestions. Thanks!

I always go through Photos of region i am going to visit on Smugmug, flickr etc to get an idea, medium tele is always welcoming for travel such as Canon 70-200F4 IS light weight and great quality, don't know about Nikon.

Being from the film era I can relate to the FX cams....with film I carried 2 lenses...as Awais suggested
the 70-200 my other choice was the 28-70 (which I upgraded to the 24-70...so with a 70-200 and 24-70
you would be very well covered....if you need to do a pano then flip the 24-70 into portrait orientation
and make that pano........from you gear list these would need to be rented......for that I suggest
borrowlenses.com ............as to brand of lens.........I have owned and used more Sigma Lenses than
any other......that is upto you and your preferences ........Have a great trip
