Dog portrait revisited

I was looking through some files trying to find one I liked enough to try printing on some Hahnemühle photo rag paper in B&W. That paper is some sexy stuff. I found this shot I took of my dog a little while ago when playing with my fisheye lens and tried my hand at converting it to B&W.
I also just upgraded to LR3 and wanted to test some of the new capabilities. Adobe took a great program and made it even better with some of the new features. The sharpening, noise reduction, and vignette features are a BIG improvement over LR2 and well worth the upgrade. There are also more flexible print features that I haven't fully played with yet.
Here is the original JPEG right from the camera.
Here is the NEF file I converted and tweeked in LR3. What do you think? I just wish the front foot was in focus too. But I will live with it. The print looked sweet on the new paper too!
