Announced in Dec. 09...available Starting Jan 10...and on-back order ever since for mere mortals.

When oh when will this thing ever be Shipped to the rest of us?:scratch

I admit I only checked today to see if anyone else has it ( they don't) since I ordered mine from Adorama~

    I have had one on order from my local dealer for several months. I am in the same boat as you. There seems to be a few out there but as you said, "The Mortals" are on hold.... headscratch.gif

    I had one on order at Adorama as soon as they posted it. Received it the end of January. Never regretted it it beats my 1.7 hands down. Using it on Nikon 200mm f2 making it 400mm f4. I had many more keepers since switching.
    Sorry you have to wait for it, but I feel it is worth it.
