It was a horrible day for a shoot, forecast said bright and sunny. Couple could only shoot at 5pm (3 hours before sunset). When we finally got there it was completely fogged over, good for exposure, bad for colors.

This is what we got out of it.

These are all very nice, I would LOVE #1 if the couple were looking toward the camera or even to the left or right of the frame. 3 and 6 I like very much as well

1. is nice but it doesn't establish an emotion. I wonder what they are looking at. 2. I like but wish the heads were somehow closer together maybe with a different angle. The basket in the front lower right corner pulls my eye away from the photo. 3. Needs a closer crop and he needs to be seen. Also the clump of hands is distracting. 4. Is just a crazy fun shot. 5. I like alot maybe a tighter crop to put more focus on the hands and engagement ring. 6. Is my favorite but the white shirt is too distracting. Try to guide your clients into what to wear. I often ask them to place the clothes on the bed and squint. This makes the colors run together and any distracting color jumps out so then replace it with another. Remember bright colors come forward and darker colors receede.
