Recent Photos updated only periodically?

I have the "Recent Photos" box on my home page, but it is not showing the most recent photos I just uploaded, nor the most recent photos (by date/time shot). Is there a delay after an upload before this homepage box gets updated? Is there some subtlety to how it determines "recent" that I am not understanding?

Hi,

The most recent galleries I see updated on your site are unlisted ones. Photos from unlisted photos don't show up for visitors.

If you have a specific public gallery from which photos don't show, check the gallery settings that you have hello smuggers and external links enabled. If that doesn't help, include a link to the gallery.

And yes, there may be a delay for the homepage boxes to update, especially on boxes like the most recent box that uses feeds.

Actually, overnight, the recent photos updated and is now showing the photos from the Arboretum gallery.

I did expect that unlisted galleries would not show up. I was just surprised that the Arboretum photos did not show up. Unless you changed something, it looks like there was just some delay in them showing up.

I added a gallery today which is public and I have Hello smuggers and external links enabled but it does not get displayed under "recent photos". Am I too impatient or am I doing something wrong? The keywords uploaded with the same gallery are already showing under "Top 100 photo keywords". Please help!

It may take time for the recent photos to update. If you still don't see the photos in the box, include a link to the gallery in question so we could take a closer look.
