Very nice, Richard - There is something WTFish in the contrast between the guy - particularly the hat and beard - and the wall.
A new analytical tool, BD--WTFish. I love it. I agree that there's something strange about it, but I can't exactly say why. I think that's what appeals to me here.
Now how long did you camp out here waiting for the right person to happen by?
Quite the contrary on this one, rainbow. I spotted the guy well ahead of me on the other side of the street but walking in the same direction. I was only carrying a 17-40 and had to run to catch him while he was still in front of the yellow wall. Had I been younger I might have been able to get ahead of him and catch him from the front, though that might have been a little too obvious .
Fantastic shot. The pumpkin colored wall compliments the subject perfectly.
IMO it is a perfect street shot as it tells a story - "I am going somewhere - don't know where - but I am going."

WTFish! Love it.
Accurate description though.
Although you haven't posted a b&w version Richard, I can't imagine it working as well as the color.

B&W doesn't work nearly as well for this one. The colors are almost designer matched.

I thought about whether it would be better if we could see his face, but I think not. The composition works just right the way it is.
Bravo.
