Proof Boxes?

Not sure if this is the best forum for it, but it applies to weddings so why not? :) I've seen other photographers deliver all the "proofs" as 4X6 prints for the client to keep and they are all contained in nice little boxes. I am entertaining this idea but have no clue where to get the boxes... well ok, i have ONE clue, but it seemed rather expensive:

6 boxes for $48?!?

Do any of you buy boxes for 4X6 prints and if so, where do you get them?

Also, if you deliver a DVD/CD instead of proofs, what time of "jewel case" do you use? My wedding photographer gave me a gorgeous leather bound CD case with our picture in front and I have no clue where she got that either!

Any links or ideas on where to get these things would be greatly appreciated! I just shot my first "PAID" wedding and will be delivering the CD soon... so it's probably not enough time for this job, but I want to step it up a notch next time!

I've considered using nice cases for my CDs/DVDs, but they cut in to the bottom line a ton and I often deliver 3 DVDs per couple for my full day shoots. ($$$$) I've been sending them in clear jewel cases (the thin ones) and will continue to do so until I run out of this stash. After that, I'm planning to look in to more eco friendly options.

    We use this for DVDs:

    $29 each

There is another, very similar looking one of another brand (can't remember the brand) that is only $10 or less apiece, but it just isn't as nice when you look at it up close.

Thanks! That's very similar to what I've seen... very nice!

Anyone know where to get the boxes for 4X6 prints though?

http://dnlphoto.com/ is where I get most packaging items, including boxes. They can emboss your logo on everything, so it makes for a very nice presentation.

LOVE!iloveyou.gif Thank you for sharing. I have some really nice ones from a speciality company that I use for weddings, but having something a little more economical and pretty is good... I had almost resorted to pasting custom designed labels to disks, which in the long run is never good!!!

I've been doing Lightscribe discs instead of a label or custom printed disc. It has worked out really well and is worth the tiny bit extra for the capable discs. I customize each "label" in photoshop to include a portrait of the couple as well as their wedding date. Seems to go over quite well.
