wasp in my hollies

This species loves some holly bushes in my garden and completely ignores the nearby flowering plants that the pollinators love. Since I am allergic to wasps (but not bees), I have never gotten up close to one before. Looking at its mandibles, I am guessing that it eats other bugs on the leaves. Anyone know?

Good capture - yes probably is after caterpillars to feed on and to feed to the larvae back in the nest. Wasps like these actually do a good job helping to control other pests.
