    Trish, great shot. I have found a large pond local to my home where it has been reported that there are kingfishers. Very different to the colors that you have over there.
    I have been down there twice so far and haven't managed to spot one yet. Any tips? What is the best time of day to spot these little fella's and I guess they move fairly fast when flying.

    Good one trish. Have you noticed that once I say that I 'm having trouble catching some bird that evryone starts posting shots of them?
