Sunrise over Sandy Point State Park, MD

This shot was taken Friday morning over the Chesapeake Bay. It was such a peaceful morning! I was the first one there and had the whole coast to myself for almost two hours. Much needed swim too, it was about 85 degrees already at 5am and the temp quickly rose. Well worth it though, I managed to get dry enough to take a couple shots.

These two are both hdr images. I know most typically frown upon hdr's but in some cases they make incredible photographs if not too over exaggerated..
Out of the bunch, these two were my favs..

By all means, let me know what you guys/gals think, honestly!

Hey Bryan, lovely! I dont know how I missed this location all the years I lived in MD. The trail of rocks leading out is really, really nice. Can't go wrong with the light beams, either. (The third shot looks like a repeat of the second, although the link is pointing to the lightbox URL, not the image.)
