Duluth, MN Air Show

I thought it was going to be a perfect day for shooting an airshow but Duluth showed its true colors. After one hour of perfect conditions the sun disappeared and the skies went white while shooting white planes (The Thunderbirds).

At least in St. Cloud I had light with the white skies. In Duluth I wasn't so lucky.

These are way awesome! I live close to St. Cloud but didn't get a chance to go to the Air Show. I would rather go to the Duluth one cause we could do some fishing and some other sight seeing along the way. :)

    Not exactly a "green" event.

    Excellent shooting, Adam.thumb.gif

Very well done....got some excellent shots.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

No, but it makes for some nice training for bird photography. After shooting those jets the eagles don't seem to be that fast. :D

I went to both. I liked the lineup in Duluth. There was a large amount of modern jets to shoot. I was hoping for the vapor cones but came up empty handed.

Very nice photos Adam. In the Thunderbirds pilots photo, is Number 6 not wearing his sunglasses right? Kinda looks funny.
