Help, please: Toshiba digital picture frame + FrmaeChannel + Smugmug RSS = Fail

OK. I have been eyeing digital photo frames for a while. I finally picked up a Toshiba DMF82XWU frame and began configuring it to work with SmugMug via the FrameChannel. Alas, all I can get on the frame are the "broken link" icons with every single SmugMug RSS feed I try, though the preview on the FrameChannel Web site on my PC looks fine.
If I try Flickr or PicasaWeb, they work fine.
I have searched as high and low as the Google would allow, and I find that others have had the same issue, though I have not found anyone that posted a solution. I have submitted support requests with Toshiba, The FrameChannel and SmugMug. SmugMug, of course, was the first to respond, though I doubt they are at fault in this chain.
Kevin confirmed that the SM RSS feed should be outputting JPEG with sRGB.
So, with all of that background detail out of the way, do any in this august group have any suggestions or experience with this issue?
Thank you!
Jeremy

I get the "file format is not supported" message... though one of my pictures in my gallery does show up. I have tried different galleries all with the same result. Also I have gone in an changed each gallery to only produce the "xlarge" size display rather than defaulting to all available sizes.
I am curious to find a solution. We purchased two of these, one for my son as he is being deployed to Okinawa for 2 years and this would be an easy way for all of his family and friends to share photos with him in one place..
Oh yeah - flickr worked just fine for me too!

If this really worked, it would be great......
The SmugMug standard feeds start with 'http' (for instance http://ivar.smugmug.com/hack/feed.mg?Type=nicknameRecentPhotos&Data=Ivar&format=atom10)
You can also try replacing the 'http' with 'feed' (for example feed://ivar.smugmug.com/hack/feed.mg?Type=nicknameRecentPhotos&Data=Ivar&format=atom10

I have a Kodak frame that works well with RSS feeds and I do not use Framechannel.

Yes. This seems to be an issue with the Toshiba DMF82XKU frames. Although the RSS feed seems to work perfectly in the Framechannel preview on the website, the frame itself shows the error message. The Toshiba frame even has Smugmug printed right on the back of the box! What is the deal?!?!
What does Toshiba have to say about the problem?

Maybe there's a problem with your frame or the setup of your frame.
My suggestion is to go ahead and give Toshiba's customer service a call. I bet they'll have you up and running in no time.
I called Toshiba... They were worthless... They had no information on setting up Smugmug feeds.
All of the other Framechannel feeds that I have configured work fine. It is just the Smugmug one that doesn't work. Does anyone know what all of the options are in the RSS URL and how I might tweak them? Maybe the images are just too high resolution in the feed? How can I tweak the RSS feed to test out different options?
Here is a 7.8 MB pdf of the manual

There are indeed, lots of options. Sizes, and more: Our detailed help page on feeds http://www.smugmug.com/help/rss-atom-feeds
