Good afternoon all:)
C&C always welcomed.

Firecrackers and toysoldiers (boys will be boys)

My daughter's first time witnessing the above--she was horrified. She ran screaming into the fray, proceeded to scream at her dad and brother (who were guilty of doing the blowing-up), and rescued the remaining toy soldiers. She sat with them with her arms/hands protectively wrapped around them and made sure no further harm came their way. (girls will be girls)

This is a fun series with the story attached. :D Without reading the story, I certainly don't get a strong sense of what is going on.

I really love the processing and composition on the triptych though. While I don't see the story that you told in text when viewing the triptych, I do get the sense that she really cares about those toys thumb.gif

The destruction was kept to the backyard--The soldiers are now housed with the barbies (lucky dogs).
The tonka trucks were next--you could hear the explosion down the block! But not a dent in the trucks---well made those little things.

Thanks for looking and commenting Azzaro.
