This lens is in great shape and is a very sharp copy. I am the second owner of this lens and it was purchased from a friend who cherry picked it out of 3 from a store. This lens is about as sharp as you can get for the ultra wide imo. In excellent shape. Very Slight rash on lens hood.

6 years left on 10 year genitech canada warranty (receipt provided)

This lens is in very good shape except for the rash as can be seen in the pictures. I am also second owner of this lens which was purchased used off ebay about 1.5 years ago. This lens does not come with the box. The lens is very sharp and the focus is quick. IS works flawlessly.

Does the rash effect image quality?

No, not at all. The 70-300mm is very sharp even wide open at 300mm which can be seen in the recent eagle shot. I can post 100% crop if you wish to show.
