pasting a link

I use Facebook quite a bit to communicate with people about their photography projects. Tonight, a mom and I were trying to locate a picture in her gallery that she wanted tweaked. I noticed that when I cut and paste a URL and send it to her, it is accompanied by this text below... any way to avoid it?

"you look better here. easily create impressive online photo albums..."
