Elk in Rocky Mountain National Park

I almost got a ticket for this shot! We had pulled off the road so that I could shoot this composition of the elk. He was up on the side of the hill about 100 yards from me. As I was shooting, I didn't know that a park ranger volunteer was angrily shouting at me to move for some reason. I'm not sure why, as I wasn't blocking any traffic. Anyway, here is the result:

Nice comp..to me the pic is all about the environment....the elk is secondary...I love the clouds coming from the behind the hill.

Thanks for the replies folks! Definitely one of my favorite places to visit. I'm hoping to get up there in late September to shoot the fall colors as well.
