    I like #1 a lot... you have the stripes from the planks in the fence themselves (nicely dissected by the stairs), the stripes in the woodgrain, and then the curved stripes in many of the planks left by the saw that cut them out of logs...

    I like them all but #1 seems more on theme. Don't sit this one out, what do you have to lose?

    #1 is probably more on theme (& a very nice photo), but I love the Maypole - the colors on it are so bright that the rest of the photo is almost muted in comparison. I guess the background might be a little cluttered - I'm just drawn to the very bright colors.

    Really like the color of the maypole image, but think there is so much else going on that the stripes are competing for attention.
