It's greater than an even chance that you'll encounter fog and/or rain when you visit Prince William Sound. After all it is coastal RAIN forest. It does have a beauty all its own, though it is a bit of an aquired taste :rolleyes Here are a few of my attempt to capture the mood :dunno

One of hundreds of little unnamed coves.

Unakwik Inlet, a classic example of a glacial fjord.

Another view of the shores of Unakwik.

A point with old growth trees covered in bearded lichen (can you see the eagle in this one?).

A pano of a little group of rocky islets (click for full version).

And the obligatory sea otter shot thrown in. Mom cuddling her little one.

Awww! The otter mom! I love otters. . .

Those are some beautiful shots. When it's foggy out everything is so relaxing. Almost like a peaceful dream. The area looks a little like northern Minnesota along Lake Superior. Really cool.

Thanks for the comments, folks. I confine B/W to old buildings, wagon wheels, etc. IMO, exhibiting nature in B/W is a travesty eek7.gif
