Nikon 85mm f1.4 or Vivitar 85mm 1.4

I wanted to know if anyone has used the Vivitar 85mm f1.4 lens before, if so how does it stack up to the Nikon (minus the cost).

I want to get a second opinion before I make a move on a lens.
