Closing Account deletes all photos... today?

I'm trying to prevent my account from auto-renewing, but can't seem to find a way to do it under account options. The only option I see if to close the account, but I get this nasty warning that "photos will be immediately deleted." How do I just prevent my account from auto-renewing?

(On a side note, if User A closed his/her account on Month 6, would SmugMug refund the pro-rated difference?)
