Young Eagles...

I am starting to see the young ones standing more on the edge of the nest. Here are a couple pics from a couple of days ago.
By the way, are these called Juvenile Eagles yet and if not, at what point are they called this?

    It's pretty cool that you have the opportunity to watch and chronicle the family as it develops. I'm no birder, but I believe they are called fledgelings or simply fledges until they can fly and take care of themselves. But I just shoot the things ne_nau.gif

    A young eagle is called an eaglet or fledgling.

    How lucky you are...nice images of the eaglets. I suppose once they start flying around and caring for themselves they become juveniles.
