Second guessing....again.

It seems like I'm always second-guessing myself. I'm not altogether happy with the photo I've entered, which is this:

Is this idea any better?

Any feedback is much appreciated. Thanks! Kate

stick with the original, in my opinion. I like the book photo, but for the challenge, I say the stripes in the material work better.

i like the original. but then again, i grew up with sarapes around the house, so i'm partial to them.

that aside, much as i love books, they just don't say "stripes" to me.

Really like the first one - the little dog/wolf/toy thing is a nice little eyecatcher - it drew me in & made me want to look closer & I think it gives the photo a "purpose" instead of just being pretty stripes. Fabulous idea - & the colors, what can I say??? Gorgeous!
