Hello All:
I am 3 days into my smugmug subscription so please bear with me...
I created a gallery for a wedding that I shot a couple of weeks ago. I set pricing, played with themes, created a coupon and even a package.
I set the gallery so that anyone viewing it has to register to see it. I sent the link to the bride and she sent it off to friends and family.
I know that people are looking at it because I am getting email notifications for comments people are making on some pictures.
My question is -
1. Is there somewhere on the site that I can see the list of comments without going through each of the 700 pictures that I posted?
2. Is there somewhere on the site that I can see who has registered?
I see favorite albums that people have created but I am not seeing great stats of who is visiting and such.
Also, do I need to create an event in order for the bride to have her own little area? I used pictage for a short time and the only thing I liked about their site was that I gave the Bride ownership of her gallery and she was able to enter a bunch of guests in a screen and I knew who they were.
I might be missing something, so any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Suzanne

To answer your first question, you can view all the comments in a single place from the control panel. Select the Stats tab and click one of the view links next to Comments. You will see a consolidated list of comments.
To see who has registered, go to the Pro tab and select manage next to Events. Once you select your event, you will see all the registered users and links to their selected favorites page.
The favorites galleries are unlisted galleries, so they won't have stats themselves. The best place for stats is the Stats tab in the control panel but you will not know who is looking at what.
You are correct that you will need to create an event to give your brides their own area to select their favorite photos. Events are a pretty new feature and SmugMug is always listening to their community. If you have any suggestions, let them know.
Hope this helps.
What would be great would be an "activities" section when you first log in - new comments, orders, members, etc so you can see everything at a glance!
I will definitely give a few ideas about the Events. It would be great to give the bride some ownership to her event so she could list some guests and put a little message for them - and be able to see stats of who visited.
